Brian Wiele - Lead Pastor

 Pastor Brian Wiele began his ministry as the Lead Pastor at River Ridge Covenant in August of 2006. After receiving degrees from UC Berkeley and Fuller Seminary, Brian has been a Covenant pastor for almost thirty years, including twenty years at one congregation in Northern California. He and Linda have been married for twenty-eight years, and have two grown children. Brian is passionate about being a messenger of God’s Word, the unity of God’s family, and helping churches serve their communities. Playing golf, drinking coffee, reading and writing are some of his hobbies, and he also does volunteer advocacy work for the Epilepsy Foundation.

Brad Hostak - Youth Pastor

 Brad Hostak began his ministry as the Youth Pastor at River Ridge in September of 2005. Brad graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Educational Ministry and is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity through George Fox Evangelical Seminary. He and Sarah have been married for two years. Brad is passionate about making church relevant for teens, helping students get out of their comfort zones, youth missions, teaching and encouraging students. Brad is a big "tech" guy and enjoys reading blogs and putting technology into ministry. He also loves watching sports and playing softball.

Peg Melhaff - Childrens Ministry Co-Coordinator

 Peg & her husband Gary joined Grace Community Covenant Church in Olympia in 1989 and came to River Ridge Covenant with the church plant in 1993. Peg has worked in Children’s ministry for 18 years starting in the nursery, then as a teacher and now as co-director of the Children’s Ministry team. She feels called to this position and is passionate about providing a quality program for our kids, discipling and mentoring as we come alongside families bringing up Christ-followers. Kids are not just the future of our church; they are a vital part of our church today. Investing in the children and youth programs honors God and brings His blessing to them and us. Peg and Gary have two daughters: Katie, attending Colorado Christian University, and Stephanie, finishing high school through running start at South Puget Sound Community College.
Gary serves on the worship and sound ministries at River Ridge Covenant.

Hilda Beirne - Administrative Assistant
Office@RiverRidgeCovenantChurch.org  Hilda Beirne has been the administrative assistant at River Ridge Covenant since July of 2008. She is married to Timothy and together they have two children who are both in college. Prior to her nest emptying she homeschooled her kids and enjoyed working behind the scenes when they were involved in community or church theater productions.

Jill Shanda - Children's Ministry Co-Coordinator
Jill is a member of River Ridge Covenant Church, and she co-coordinates children ministries with Peg Melhaff. Jill likes being involved with kids, because she feels compelled to share Jesus Christ with them. She has felt this strongly since she first came to River Ridge Covenant Church ten years ago. It is her calling to share the love of Christ, and give kids hope in this world. Jill benefits from her involvement with kids, not only from what it does for them, but what Jill has gleaned from her experience with them.
